About The Boat

The Expedition is a late-model 40' Luhrs Express, certified by the United States Coast Guard as a charter boat for up to 6 passengers. Custom built with extra bow flair, Expedition is built for speed as well as comfort, so she takes the seas well, and we can get you out there, catch some fish, and get you back in time for dinner!.  The Expedition is Powered By Twin CAT Diesel engines,  giving her a cruising speed of approximately 25 knots and a top speed of over 30.  She's also equipped with the latest navigational and fish finding electronics, including:

        Vhf Marine Radios

        GPS Navigational Systems

        State of the art Bottom machine/Fish finders

Below Decks, the Expedition boast comfortable sleeping quarters for six, and the comfort of dual Central Air Conditioning Units, which comes in handy on hot days in the Gulf, but you can't fish from in there, so we like to stay topside !!

The Expedition is outfitted with the finest tackle and fishing gear around, including Shimano Tiagra Big Game Reels and Rods.  We constantly strive to maintain baits and tackle that are on the cutting edge of the market.

A large cockpit ensures makes for plenty of fishing room, and ample seating above and below decks ensures a comfortable ride to and from the fishing grounds.

The Expedition also has a custom "tuna tower", with dual controls above for big game fishing and bill fishing.
